I'm having trouble pq DVD to ipod ripper?

I just recently purched PQ DVD to iPod to rip my dvds to mp4. For the most part it works o.k. but about half of the dvds wont rip and i get a message that says(key exchange for dvd copy protection failed) .The error message says to upgrade direct x to 9.0 or higher. I tried this but I'm not sure what to do with it. It might not be the problem anyhow. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

The error message means the DVD you tried to rip has a new copy protection, but pq DVD failed to decrypt it.



I suggest you request a refund from pq dvd and then try Ideal DVD to iPod Converter. They usually keep up with the new protection. It helps me rip a lot of my collections. I really like iPod Video Converter + DVD to iPod Converter Suite by Cucusoft. It isn't free, but it has worked quite well for me. You can download a free trial to check it out, but it does put a banner across the output in the trial version.
