Samsung Tab 3 Won't boot into recovery mode?

Question

I have got a Samsung Tab 3 7. 0 (WIFI)
(WHITE) which won't boot into recovery mode. I was trying to root it before it wasn't booting into recovery mode. It can boot up into the apps and menu and everything and downloading mode, but won't boot into recovery mode. I have installed a file called recovery.tar.md5 using odin to root it, after the next step was to boot it into recovery mode, so when I tried it, it did not boot into recovery mode. Please help me quick guys.

I forgot to mention that when I tried to boot it into recovery mode it would just get stuck on the Samsung logo.
