what is net frame work, and should we download it .what sort of effect does it have or what is it for - pl. ex?

i was told that some programs require net frame works ,it seems there are three, should i download all of them.

The .Net framework is a library required to run programs that are developed specifically for the framework. If you do not have the framework installed and you try to run a program that needs it, you will see an error message prompting you to download it.

You only need to download the latest version of the .Net framework (version 3.5) as it also includes all components of the previous versions.

The .Net framework alone does not use any .pl files, but you may have other programs relying on .Net that make use of .pl files. You can try to find out what the .pl files are here:

It is a Microsoft file which is really annoying because a lot of programs now require it to run or install. you can get it off Microsoft's website

get your pc updated.. .net frame work should come with the critical updates & security fixes,.. here is the link-> http://update.microsoft.com/ make sure you use internet explorer..
