How do I enable short codes for 'Link Library' plugin on my wordpress blog?

I have intsalled the 'Link Library' plugin on my wordpress blog (Paid hosting). Unfortunately the short code does not work and appears as a code on the page where I pasted it. Is there anyway I can make this plugin work? Your help most appreciated.

To use shortcodes you have to copy and paste them into your wordpress post or pages

Some shortcodes require you to enter them in "HTML Mode" instead of "Visual Mode". Go to the post or page and click the "HTML" tab at the top right hand corner of the WordPress text editor. Then, paste your shortcode and click the "Update" button. If your plugin is set up correctly, this should fix your issue.
