Can PowerPoint 2007 play looped sound clips without a pause?

I have a sound clip I'm using for a project and I've checked it in both Soundbooth and several media players to make sure it's properly looped and it's fine. Only problem is that when I go to put it into PowerPoint, there's a whole second or two where it simply stops before restarting. Is there a way to correct this so there is no delay or do I just have to edit the file to make that falloff less noticeable?

That seems odd. I can loop a sound file with no delay what-so-ever. There aren't a lot of options on PowerPoint, so I would think you are doing it right, but here are the steps I use...

Insert the sound and set it to play automatically --> go to the Animation tab and click on Custom Animations to open the Animation palette --> double click on the sound --> go to the Timing tab --> where it says Repeat, put the number of times you want it to repeat.

(Setting Loop Until Stopped in the Sound Tools options instead of going into the animation palette also does it)

Probably what you are already doing, but that works for me.

in case you have abode windows action picture maker, shorten it from the start to whilst it cuts off and shop as a seperate report if that dosn't paintings... you probobly dont use it suitable. or you're able to desire to jus make the full difficulty in action picture maker?
