The limewire program cant connect because is says that "limewire has detected a firewall" now it has only one bar and it stays like that. I have tried everything, from installing it again to removing all firewalls and making it the exeption. I also made this connection test with a site to see and it said "The test worked!!" I have Norton Security activated but it has never been a problem before. It says that "you are still connecting to the network" when you pass the cursor above the signal bars. Any ideas on what to do, I also hears there is another programed like this called azu... something. Thanks!!!

Well duh, if you have any security programs like norton, they are gonna block it. I honestly would get rid of limewire right now. My friend was arrested and spent time in prison for using limewire, I installed it and after three days, I didn't download anything and it had completely trashed my computer, now limewire locked up my computer and I can't even wipe the HDD. Limewire hides a folder and disguises it as a "critical operating system" file, and it is called Complete. The folder is filled with junk that you probably didn't download, for me it was too big for the recycling bin(remember in those 3 days I downloaded NOTHING). Now the computer might as well be thrown in the trash.

Another thing, the government just made Google give up all the IP addresses and records of EVERYONE who downloaded a TV Show or Movie Clip or any copyrighted material for free off of Google Video and Youtube, and they have been trying to find all the Limewire people for years. Norton Antivirus, if it's updated, has been trained to block limewire at just about all costs. If you have windows vista, it WILL not run, no matter how much you try to get it to run, Vista will not allow Limewire access.

pay attention on your antivirus, that's attempting to tell you something. Limewire is a hackers play floor, like as no longer in case you probably did have the flexibility to get on lime twine you will finally end up getting an endemic.
