What is the difference between Windows 7 home basic and Windows 7 professional?

Hi! Myself Biswajit Majumder. I have one HP ENVY4 1002TX ULTRABOOK which is runs on Windows 7 home basic. I wanna upgrade it with the Windows 7 Professional operating system. I wanna know that is the difference between Windows home basic and Windows 7 Professional operating system?

W 7 Home Premium is way less expensive than W 7 Pro, and offers everything most Windows Users need. But, only W 7 Ultimate includes multiple languages for home users, if that's what you REALLY need.

Home Basic can support up to 8GB of ram and Windows 7 Professional can support up to 16gb of ram , but i use ultimate. Its an ultra book so its not worth the upgrade just keep it on Home Basic.

1. You can enable AERO in W7P, its not in W7HP (True Transparency)

2. The windows media center is not available with W7HP but in W7P
