How do you completely disable hyperlinks in MS Word?

I hate having links in my Microsoft Word documents, for instance when I copy them directly from online -- I never actually USE the links! Is there anyway to completely disable them on all my MS Word documents, besides right clicking and saying "Edit hyperlink...delete hyperlink" manually for every single one?

I've already disabled the AutoCorrect feature, so when I type in www.yahoo.com, it doesn't automatically become a hyperlink. However, even though I disabled the AutoCorrect thing, I can still paste in hyperlinks when I try to copy areas of text from online! Is there anyway to just always get rid of them?

Details:
I have Microsoft Word 2004 for Mac, version 11.3
(But if you have it for a PC, I'm sure I could still figure it out.)

Thank you!!

Tools > AutoCorrect Options > Auto Format as You Type tab > Deselect - Internet and network paths with hyperlinks > Click OK and close out dialog box.

Highlight the hyperlink and go into your text colour options, click automatic or black. If there is also an underline with the hyperlink, keep the link highlighted and click the underline text button twice to get rid of it. Hope this helps!

You can go into Microsoft Word Help, which is within Microsoft Word, then type "hyperlink" in a Search box and that should help you.
