I have 30 running in the process tab from my task manager. If I click end process I will not delete Internet Explorer will I? They are there even when IE is not open & they all are taking up different K's of memory, but no CPU usage. If I right click on them & check properties they all say location C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer & they were all created on & accessed on the same day. Should I end process'? Please help me, I am a computer idiot.

Yes you can end the process and no it will not delete Internet explored. They are just taking up memory so you can end them. Once you click end it will give u another option just click end process

Just kill the task, this will stop the Program from Running. Id also run a Virus check if the happens more often, as this is a sign for a Virus.

You should end these processes. You may have a virus if you have 30 running, especially if you have not opened internet explorer. This will not delete IE, only end it. You should run a virus scan as well as run CCleaner in this case. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard.
