Every time I print a check from Quickbooks it changes my default printer to it's PDF printer. I have to go into my printer settings and reset them every time I exit Quickbooks. I have searched their forums, and asked my question there and recieved no repsonse. Any ideas?

Is your printer set to the default printer in Windows? If it's not, in the Control Panel, that's your first problem.

Then, open QuickBooks and go to File > Print. On the next screen that appears, it likely shows QB's PDF printer in the top-most box, labelled Printer:.

Just click on the little triangle, and select your printer from the drop-down list, and print something.

Now QB should remember it every time. If not, re-install your Printer's drivers, and set it as the Default.

There is a feature in Quickbooks 2015 which allows to select the default printer per type of form which Quickbooks prints.

Go to QB File > Printer setup, then choose the form name in the drop-down box at the top.

Anyway, this resolved my problem.

That answer did not help.
