A Problem in Excel?

Question

I Have Many data(Number) typed in Excel
but some of data dont have format Number
what am i doing for conversion format?
for example " numberes " have text format
I want numberes typed -----------> Number format
note: I have very data number then typed in text format

Some times change the number to number format is not suficient.



Maybe is not the best solution but it works, select the column and replace 0 by 0, 1 by 1, 2 by 2 until you replace all de cells by the same value, doing this the texts are changed to numbers.

If you want to do any mathematical operations, they need to all be in number format.



Select the cells that you want to have numbers. Right click and choose, format cells, under the 'Number' tab choose the number format that you want - whether it be decimal or fraction or zip-code, etc.

if you keep it in a text format it will hole the zeros on the left (006621) but if you have it on numer format it will auto. take them away. you can change the format but going to format on the top menu bar and them going to cells and choosing the format that you want.
