Most of the embeded videos on the web are flash based now-adays.

If it is infact a avi, mpeg, wmv, etc movie, look at the source code for the site, and look for those extentions and it will give you the acutal link to that video, put that in your address bar, and you should be able to download it with FireFox

since you already have firefox, then this will be easy,

first, install extension Video Downloader

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2390

then restart firefox, after that, surf to the web with the embeded video, then press the video downloader around the toolbar or the status bar, then it will give you the link for the video.

best luck with you.

First, set up Firefox in case you haven't any longer already finished so. next, set up the Video receive Helper upload on. this might assist you to receive the .flv data on your stressful force. next, you need to use a software like VLC participant (unfastened) or QuickTime professional ($30) to transform the report to a distinctive format like .mov, .avi or the different format this is actual transportable or transferable to a gadget or enhancing application. This works with YouTube movies as nicely.
