Don't know which to purchase...
In October, iOS 6 comes out almost on the same day as Windows 8...
Should I buy the iPad now or wait till October for Surface???
Thanks...

The Surface has some things going for it that could make it better than the ipad. It all depends on how good the Windows RT apps are and how much the devices cost. Here are some pros and cons for the Microsoft Surface versus the iPad:

The outside home windows RT OS is best designed and more powerful than iOS - however there are various fewer apps for windows RT compared to iPad, and with a view to be genuine for a couple of years even in the quality feasible scenario. You also must be aware that the home windows RT floor doesn't run actual home windows apps like word and Excel - it does have those apps, however they are slimmed down types, and they run slower. Similarly, it will not run video games made for home windows 7. To be in a position to run any windows apps on surface, including place of work and video games, you have to get a floor with windows eight professional, so they can be on hand after the home windows RT tablets come out (and in order to cost extra). So if I were you, i'd cling on to the iPad for now, and once the windows 8 pro floor drugs are out, investigate those out - what you'll be able to in actual fact be getting is equivalent to an extremely-slim computer that runs home windows 7 apps, plus it has a contact reveal and all of the cool Metro apps.

I would go with the iPad. The new Windows 8 tablets look pretty cool, and will probably do well, but until they come out, the iPad is the standard and will remain the standard for a while. For the time being they have more applications and more support. I would also wait until Microsoft works out the kinks.

You should buy the new iPad.

It seems like the Surface will cost more money than the iPad will. Also, the Surface will obviously be less reliable than the iPad so it's best to get the iPad.

I would go with surface. ios is a stale and outdated os. Android or windows 8 for tablets I say.
