Is limewire and ares still working?

Ive been away on holiday for the last 4 months and come back to find that i cannot access limewire nor ares. i know there are some legal battles going on in the USA at the moment concerning P2P downloading. Have these programs been shutdown??? i tried to download latest versions, without much success. anyone else in the same boat

Dude, if you want to use limewire, just go to frostwire.com



They offer Limewire-rebadged-as-Frostwire for download, and it is as good as or better than Limewire.



I think that Ares has been shut down, though.

I even have vista on my computer and limewire works merely nice. verify to make constructive it is not an administative difficulty which will reason it to no longer artwork (relatively verify to easily be constructive you're logged in on the main significant account on your computer, then try it).
