I want to be able to write marching percussion music and marching shows on guitar pro, is there anywhere you can download sound banks that are compatible with guitar pro? Is there a marching percussion sound bank? If so, how do you get it to work on guitar pro?

You can import any midi, MUSIChtml, or tabs, like power tabs into Guitar Pro 6. So, anything you can find in the way of midi percussion files would work for you.

You can also download power tabs files from various sources like - http://www.tabscout.com/

MUSIChtml files are used to add sound to web sites so, I don't believe you will find any of these files that you can actually download or use.

However the best way to do that would be to get yourself a midi drum pad and record your own bests directly into guitar pro from the pad in midi through one of your USB ports.

Ehm..

I downloaded Guitar Pro for free here http://j.mp/1lOOTmm

It's the best software of its kind.

Ummm, you can't use power tab files in guitar pro. they are 2 different programs, that read different files. Hell, Guitar Pro lists it exports MusicXML files, but its not even a working readable version that any other bit of software, besides guitar pro can read.
