I'm making a collage of pictures with Microsoft word is there to make pictures overlap other pictures?

Right click the picture and choose "format picture". Under text wrapping select "tight" and you can place the pictures as close together as you'd like or even overlap them.
Still, be prepared that Word will do weird things. You'll make one final tweak and suddenly half your photos are on the next page.

cut and paste the picture from Microsoft word on the Paint, cut and paste some other picture on the same Paint- adjust them as you desire and the save it.

Alt + F4 + Enter button, then drag the picture wherever you want

yeah just right click and put all the pictures on behind text or in front of text, i forget which one, but then you can move them anywhere
