I'm drafting an email to a few people who I am going to interview for a job, but I don't want them to see each others names. To do this, I have heard it is best to just use a blind carbon copy. If one BCC person hit reply all, would their reply go the group or just to the listed (ie not listed as bcc) recipients? Or can they reply at all? I'm using the web version of microsoft outlook.

No. That 'reply to all' only applies to those contacts that are in the 'To', not those in the 'BCC'. If you sent him an email and you put him in the BCC, only his name will appear in the 'To' when he opens the email. He wouldn't even know that he was originally put in the 'BCC'.

BCC is not listed on the recipient's e-mail, so when they Reply to All it won't go to any of the people that you originally put in the BCC field. In other words, only you (and any non-BCC people) would receive the reply.

BCC will not allow them to see other recipients names.

If they hit reply they'll reply to you (the sender). there will be no reply to all option

Carbon reproduction or Courtesy reproduction ( for informational purposes), is seen by using all addresses it fairly is despatched to. in case you conceal the BCC no person knows it replaced into despatched to them by using watching the handle. keeps the privateness of their digital mail addresses.
