When i try to install Adobe flash (automatic firefox installer) an error pops up after entering admin password sayng : E:dpkg was interrupted,you must manually run 'sudo dpkg -- configure -a to correct the problem
E:_catcher->open() failed, please report.

Now when i enter it in the terminal it asks for password and after that it shows some cmds about dpkg, and so on. I am new to linux and i dont understand how to fix it. The same problem is whit update mananger after i enter my password, same error pops up.

Hey,

Videos issues are often related to Adobe Flash Player (you can download it here http://j.mp/1mF2KMu) You have to download and install/update Adobe flash player to be able to watch videos on the internet (Youtube, Facebook, etc..) With Flash Player as well as watching videos you can also play flash games online. Sometimes this software is not installed or is damaged/corrupted and it's responsible for many problem with videos. Hope that helps.

Ubuntu is all opensource and lacks many drivers and plugins that should normally be installed WITH YOUR DISTRIBUTION. It also runs the sudo instead of su for intalling software that can really be a pain.

Consider a paid linux that comes with all the drivers and plugins installed instead of a free opensource cute little linux like Ubuntu

Open up the terminal and paste this exact thing into it.

sudo dpkg -- configure -a

Let the process finish before you try to do anything else.

Here is someone who had the same problem. If you follow these steps and still have a problem report back any error messages.

Good luck
