IrfanView Problems- EPS files?

Hey everyone

My boss has asked me to to convert some files that she cant open. They are EPS files....The net says that Irfan View is the best one to use but when I try and open them I get a error message saying

"Invaid EPS file. (No EPS preview image available, try AFPL Ghostscript plugin)"

I tried d/l the plugin but I have no idea where to put it or anything. Is there a better way of opening EPS files or can you let me know how I get get the Ghostscript plugin to work?
