Question:
Does manually aborting a game put pressure on the Windows system files ?

Well, this is more of a rumor and not any proven fact.

Suppose, I manually abort a game using the Task Manager (End Task option) or in case of multiplayer gaming on Gameranger or Gamespy or any such softwares, in many cases, the games get aborted manually due to disconnection problems, error on the host's game, etc. ; so does this have any adverse effect on the Windows system files ?

I myself have no idea on this but I have heard from some experienced sources that forceful exiting of a game instead or the normal quitting can damage or corrupt the system files. To what extent is this true ?

When you use task manager to close any non responding program or game it has no effect on the operating system and doers not corrupt operating system files.

If the game is online and it loses the connection then closing the tab in the browser has no corrupting effect on the operating system or browser.

If you do a hard shut down with out logging off and turning off the operating system then yes that does corrupt system start up files.

It has no affect to the Widows files. I've force shut the whole system with both game and Windows running. Every now and then I have to boot to safe mode and then reboot back to full Windows. But, that is my own doing forcing shut down of the whole gui. Not the game. On some older 1994 through say, 2007 games a forced shut down of the game, while it is performing a task you set it, will bugger the game's files or the saved file you were playing from. Forcing a reload of game or starting from an earlier point. But, Windows, 3.1-Vista has been fine. Even the old MS-DOS was fine.

It might effect the games, but not windows system files and wouldn't do either if its an online game your playing. Some times people say that (even IT Professionals) just to play safe with newbies.

For example Safely remove hardware people ask about that is it safe to remove a USB device without clicking on the latter. In the real world yes, because quick release is the Windows default but it still allows you to click on the icon and Windows doesnt give you a polite message to say not required.

more so you could be writing data to that device at the time and if you just pulled it out the data stream would be corrupted.

So if someone on here asked the question "is it safe to remove a usb memory stick without clicking on the taskbar "safely remove hardware " most people would say no, its safer to click on that first, but if one of my friends asked me - I would have to say "Yeah just pull it out"

on account that God is omniscient, he's familiar with which babby would be aborted. If he does not positioned souls into people who would be aborted, then abortion should not be an argument with christians by using fact those babbies is truthfully not seen human by utilising christian standards. If he does positioned souls into them, then one wonders why he does it on account that those babbies would be aborted. An confederate to homicide?
