Its not vistas fault, its the companies that make the games. The best thing to do before you buy a game. Look up on the internet, games that are compatible with vista.

For the games you have go to the companies website that makes the game and look for drivers so they will work for vista. If they don't have drivers send them an email. Tell them you have vista and list the problems that you have. I bought Diablo 2 a few weeks ago and it won't work on my vista.

Its the companies fault they haven't updated their games for vista. Its a problem i guess with a lot of World of Warcraft players.

You can also send emails to microsoft asking for suggestions. You might have to look for drivers for your graphics cards.

Hope this helps, i know the feeling of spending money and then the game doesnt work

This is not a smart alec remark. Return the games add a little bit more and buy a windows xp disk before it's too late. I think Vista is unfix-able if they have to hobble an operating system together to make it run it just collects problems One thing I've used to return games is to get them shrink wrapped. Video stores and printing places often have shrink setups. Sometimes the problem is flat panel screens are too slow for some modern games. I run mine analog because the DVI system just doesn't work well on Dell monitors.

I'm sure your PC is compatible with win xp not sure what you meant by that.

ok

first of all u cant just assume the game will work just because u have a PC

ok the games require stuff from the PC

like processor,memory,videocard,RAM

Ok

Or sometimes some games dont work on vista

like GTA vice city, and several more

I don't think the game is compatible with your computer. You have to make sure you have the required processor, memory, video card etc. So click on this website link and run a scan of your system and you will know if your pc can handle these games:- http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest

Yeah you always read the box to make sure it is compatible with your computer. Also you may not have enough memory on your computer for the game. I have that problem sometimes.

Your buddy is right! HP are very solid with computers, yet their laptops truly are not that solid. As I artwork with computers, i detect that Toshiba's are the best sort for laptops, with the best fee for solid-high quality laptops. in case you agree directly to not purchase from Toshiba, any pc could be super different than ones from Dell or Gateway. i detect that they consistently crash, and don't artwork in any respect!! solid success!!

try install reinstall and if that doesn't work check to see if your computer can run it or not and if it still doesn't work well your out of luck
