Hello,

A while ago I tried to remove AVG Antivirus Free Edition. It gave me this error message.

Installer initialization failed due to following error:
Error: Initialization of the language file "C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Free" failed.
General failure.

Is there another way to remove the program? I NEED it off my computer in order for me to download McAfee. McAfee won't let me finish the installation unless I remove AVG, but if I can't remove AVG then I can't add McAfee! Please help!

Reinstall it and then uninstall it.

Sounds strange, but by reinstalling, you also reinstall the uninstallation process !

You should often clean up temporary files folder.

If you don’t clean up temporary files folder in time, the disk space will be occupied by these temporary files and the speed will be dropped. What is more important is that a lot of virus and malicious procedures producing in the temporary files cause your systems to stop working. If you don’t know the specific location where files should be cleaned up in, and are worried to delete system files by mistake, which makes the system impossible to operate normally.I can supply you several optimization software.
