iTunes is not native to Linux. Take a look at these open source options

Rhythmbox

http://projects.gnome.org/rhythmbox/

gtkpod (good for syncing)

Depending on what version you are using:

Ubuntu and other Debian distibutions:

sudo apt-get install wine

Red Hat and Fedora

Download the RPM and double click on it.

I would recommend not installing iTunes in Linux, as you have to install the audio drivers and configure them in Wine, and setup iTunes with the audio drivers. I recommend dual booting Windows XP, Vista, or 7 and Linux. There are many guides on the internet for it, just look.

its complicated. i cant understand much of it myself. just go to your software manager and search for wine. then from there you download the correct version of itunes (go to winehq.com for tests of each) there is also some config stuff you likely need to do but that is as far as i've gotten. i wish someone would make a better music player like the itunes ui...

ps. if .exe files won't open check preferences to make sure they can be exicuted as programs

once you've a workstation, proper click the mp3 record, and choose "open with" and choose itunes to open the record. as far as you getting music from a source except itunes, there are a mess of peer to seem downloading classes that you could use to acquire the documents on your pc. you could also use bittorrent web pages. merely use at your own possibility!
