You obviously have a lot of "stuff" on your computer.

Games, Programs and Documents (Such as Photos/Music/Videos) are often a big part of this.

Try deleting some of this.

You may just have a small hard drive. How big is it?

If i assume you are running XP, you shouldn't have a HD under 20GB. A good size is about 60GB+.

There may also be other unwanted files on your computer that you do not know about. This is not an anti-spy ware program, but it can help clean out unnecessary files.

It's called CCleaner (or Crap Cleaner.)

You can download it from the following: (It's Free.)

The advice already given is good. Also, there's a program called DiskView - it's not free, but there's a free rather lengthy trial. This allows you to see which folders are taking up the most space and how much is in each. That way if you have a deeply-buried folder with some huge files in it that you forgot about, you can find 'em and hopefully get rid of them or transfer them.

Also, like someone else said, get an external hard drive and keep all your downloads & media files on there. If you look for sales you can find some for a really inexpensive price.

You might also look for a program called windirstat it is free and it will scan your computer and show in a quick handy graphical format which folders on your computer are the largest and where all the files are. This way you can see what is taking up all the space and decide if you can remove it or not. Be careful do not delte anything important. If you stay out of the windows folder that will help.

I'd use a program like Ccleaner first (it's free). It gets rid of unnecessary temp files. Go here to download:

Also, you should check your limewire downloads and make sure you actually want everything in your downloads folder.

You either have a tiny hard drive or you have alot more on your computer than you thin. Pictures, movies and songs take up the most room

your hard drive is...like 3gb? You are either loaded up with junk, "stuff", or you need to buy an external hard drive. After that use disk clean up then disk defragmenter

buy a external hard drive. they are farely cheap and would be a great place to keep your music files which a lot of people fill thier primary drive up with.
