one program that i will guaranty will work on 90% of internet media is WMRecorder. I use this puppy everyday. What is does is, kind of like real player, recognize videos (flash, or wmv, etc etc), or audio, and record them. you can set it to auto, where it will just download whatever it can off a page, or manual where you type in the source link for the file. i use it on youtube all the time, any site that has embeded windows media player, pandora radio (which i was super surprised). anything really.

i have yet to be dissapointed by this program for the last 2 years.

Try adding you menu bar (Right click the title bar) then do Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Reset IE settings because it sounds like you must have flash and java disabled. If that doesn't work, get a new browser because honestly, IE is just not up to par with Chrome and Firefox.

Why?.....Joke. It's non of my business anyway. Hmm, i used also realplayer but, yah, it's heavy. I also tried "Sothink Web Video Downloader for Firefox" - it's freeware but the con is: the streaming must be spontaneous if not, the download would start back at 0. I tried once, FLV Video Downloader (its not a plugin). It's faster but I used it only as a trial version because I had problem downloading it in torrentz. But I'm still downloading for it. I also have a friend who is using it, so maybe it's reliable. Try it.

Vdownloader is a powerful tool that can search, download and convert videos from Youtube, Google Video, Metacafe, MySpace, DailyMotion, Yuvutu, and many other similar sites, saving them in AVI or MPG format. It is also a powerful video converter.

If It is Just Youtube then Youtube Downloader is the Best, Just 2mb

If all videos then DownloadHelper Is a Good plugin for Firefox.

Install Orbit Downloader or Internet Download Manager (best) and integrate it to FireFox or other browsers you use. They are download managers that lets you download any files/videos (from any site).
