You have to copy them into your fonts folder.

Its in your control panel labeled "fonts". Just put them in there and refresh word.

To download fonts off the Internet and use them on word, you highlight the fonts on the Internet, copy it, go to the desktop on your computer, opening drive c of your computer you will find font, opening it and past it.

you can try http://www.abstractfonts.com/ to download fonts

click on any font to preview. when you like it, click on download tff to a specific destination on your pc. after finish downloading, click on start - control panel - fonts

when the font folder opens up, click on file - install new font and browse to the place where you save your fonts. once the font appears in the list, just click select all and click ok. when you start words, you would be able to see the fonts installed on the font drop down menu

Drop your new font into the C:/Windows/Fonts directory.

Re-start Word (If it's already open) & then you should see the font in Word in the normal way.
