Cubase 5.1 is the latest version, so it should be better (you did ask!).
The version you choose is entirely dependent upon what features YOU want, and we can't possibly help you with that.

hi, save the record as .Wav in Cubase then open it in an audio editor sych as wavelab/soundforge/adobe audition and convert it to MP3 there. The MP3 conversion codec/plugin in Cubase LE varieties isnt integrated and you need to purchase it. all the ultimate, Mark
