So I have the trial version of Photoshop CC 2014. My computer is a Windows 7. Whenever I try to import a video to layers and right after I choose which video I want to use, it crashes. I've tried reinstalling the program onto my computer but that still doesn't help at all. Tell me if I need to provide any more information.

I've got a monster PC and it struggles with photoshop CC trying to import video. How long is the footage you are trying to import? If it is a minute or so- try editing the footage and cutting it down to like 5 seconds at a time or so. That really is my best advice to you, converting video to being editable one picture at a time is very...buggy and unstable right now. I'm sure they will make improvements on it in the future but right now you gotta stick with what you get.

If that works and you are able to open the video clips up- SAVE OFTEN. Seriously after every small edit you do- save. As I said, even if it doesn't crash and you can successfully import the video clips- it is buggy and unstable. I have had lots of grief over this process as well because I forgot to save and it crashed... just a heads up.
