Hi guys im want to switch from Windows 8 to Linux (maybe Ubuntu) and i want to know if it has driver support for my laptop.I have a Sony Vaio SVF152A29M

Most Vaios have excellent Linux support so you should be ok. I would urge you to consider Linux Mint or Mepis instead of Ubuntu however. Adam3k3 is wrong about Linux being harder than Windows in general, but Ubuntu actually is much harder than Windows in large part because it has far more bugs than most distros.

The new laptops are most likely fully compatible. I had an old laptop and everything worked great right out of the box. Download the live CD/DVD and run it, if everything is fine install it.
Be warned: Linux is much harder than windows.

I believe so. If you're outright switching, it'll be a cakewalk, if you're dualbooting, it'll require a little bit of messing with partitions, so be careful.

Yes! Just make sure you partition your HDD correctly.
