Question:
When converting a FLV, why doesn't the audio match the output video?

I have the complete Alive Video Converter software and recently saved a flash video using FLV Recorder. When I converted the video, the audio did not match up to the output video. I converted it several times in different formats (avi, wmv, divx, etc) but it still does the same thing. I then downloaded Moyea and it adds the watermark which is pretty lame but surprisingly it does the job really well. Can this issue can be fixed with any video conversion software? What do I have to do to ensure that the audio will match the video using the Alive Video Converter? Is there another software perhaps that will do the job and without the lame watermark Moyea adds? I would really appreciate some assistance! :)

If there is syncing problem no matter what output format you pick, usually it means a decoding problem - the decoder sends out wrong time stamps, and the encoder just faithfully using whatever passed down by the decoder.

Of course, different conversion software works different, so you can try a different conversion software.

Video Cleaner: http://www.riverpast.com/en/prod/videocleaner/

Keep in mind, to convert FLV in Video Cleaner, you will need to have CCCP installed: http://www.cccp-project.net/
