There are many word to pdf converters free online or for downloading, convertword2pdf.com is a freeware online and simpo pdf creator lite is a free pdf creator for downloading.



But you don't need these software if you are using office 2007 and above.

For office 2007, you can download a 'save as PDF/XPS' add-in from Microsoft website, then save your word to pdf format as below steps;

If office 2010 used, this add-in is built in the office suite, no need to download it, just save the word document directly to pdf, open the office file -> go to share -> select create PDF/XPS document.



If you are using office 2003, no add-in can be used, you need support of third-party software like simpo pdf creator or online word to pdf converter.

You can create PDF directly from word 2007.

Also a newly release one Office 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) has built-in the add-in.

Go online to the Microsoft Office web site and download the "doc to pdf" add in. It is very small in file size.

Once you have installed it, run the Microsoft Office Word 2007 program then click the "office button", put your mouse over "save" and the click "PDF or XPS"

I think you need Advanced PDF Converter as it is very good at preserving the formatting, with text content, page layouts, images,and text hyperlinks preserved.It also allow us to convert a lot files at the same time. I am now using it.
