Yes, make sure your drivers are up to date and installed correctly, that should be an easy fix.
If you're still having trouble you could try going to a Restore Point if you remember when they were working last. A restore point does exactly what it says, it restores your computer back to a previous time. I've had this come in handy several times.
If that doesn't work, I would contact Toshiba for expert troubleshooting.
