Hi! Are you an employee who clocks in and out with a timeclock or computer, or an application user in either HR or Payroll, or as a supervisor or manager?

If you are having a hard time with Kronos, the system may need to be reconfigured or adjusted. Having implemented Kronos for over 10 years, I came say that this is the case over 90% of the time when employees get frustrated with the application. After initially installing Kronos, few companies ever go back and fix issues or optimize the system for their actual real work situations.

That being said, Kronos is the most complete and full-featured time management software on the market. Would you prefer using paper timecards punching into old mechanical timeclocks that require constant maintenance as well as additional payroll resources to calculate employees' worked time on timecards and then transfer those totals into a payroll system? In today's world, that would be cost prohibitive for anything but small businesses.

Back in the 70's, Kronos came out with the first computerized timeclocks that actually totaled worked hours on the paper timecards. As computers have advanced, so have the capabilities of the Kronos application. I would suggest that you express your concerns to your manager, HR, or Payroll so they are aware of the issues and can begin resolving them by contacting Kronos tech support or engaging a Kronos consultant, like myself. Good Luck!

Kronos DOES ABSOLUTELY SUCK!!!!! It's the most user UN-friendly interface I've ever seen. I mean, seriously, who designs punch clock software that displays a tiny print time ONLY after you log in, but not before (so you don't know whether it's time to punch in yet or not unless you log in) and NO clock face on the screen so you can't see what time it is unless you're sitting right in front of the thing and are logged in. That's the dumbest user interface design I've ever seen. Also, you have to go to "my reports" to find your schedule. Why not just have "see your schedule" be one of the options? I can not stress enough how user un-friendly this thing is. Another thing is that it's over the internet, so it usually takes between 30 to 90 seconds for the timestamp screen to come up once you've entered your number and password. So you are often a minute late punching in. Timekeeping software that's actually on the pc you're punching in on would be WAY BETTER that this POS! I could list about a dozen other examples of how user un-friendly this POS is, but I think I've made my point. I just thought that somebody who actually has to use this piece of sh!t time keeping software should answer this question. Seriously, who would trust the answer given by the person who's worked for Kronos for over ten years... Troll!!!

I know something about kronos. I have used it for about 18 months. The ten year employee doesn't know anythig about competition, or customer service.

He sounds like a salesman: " Would you prefer using paper timecards punching into old mechanical timeclocks that require..." Are YOU Kidding me?! As if that were the only alternative to Kronos?? I saw a softare list of over 150 alternatives to kronos.

The reason I dislike kronos are: it takes too long to log in.. average 2 minutes. Everytime java updates, it breaks. So we have to keep a fossil java version on the time clock machine. And even then it's so finnicky it breaks without warning. we spend as much time maintaining kronos as doing regular work.

How can you imply that paper timecards are the only alternative. I have to agree with the troll caller on every point. that's not customer service, that's wanking self deception.

I don’t know much about Kronos, but have been using the Replicon Time tracing software from a long time and very happy with it. The interface is user-friendly and very easy to use. You might, as well want to give it a try.

I'm not familiar with Kronos but have had huge success with TSheets.com and their timekeeping software. I have found it to be very user friendly and their tech support is amazing. It might be a good fit for you too...

It sucks. We just got the "New & Improved" version deployed 12/1/15 and it's just more lipstick on a pig. There is no intuitive way to perform most of the functions and it requires someone to become an expert BEFORE you can even use it! I've watched all of their "Help" videos and couldn't even do 50% of the things they said I can do.

I would rather that my employees stuck Post-it notes on my door with their clock times than to try and figure out how to use this POS.

Wrestlemania 24 was one of the best I've seen in the past 6 years. The Money In The Bank Ladder Match was the match of night in my opinion. Far enough there were a few mistake during WM24 e.g. The lights going out during the Bunnymania match. What do you guys think?
