I went on a website using Mozilla Firefox and saved some ".cur" files onto a file on my desktop. Then, I went to Control Panel > Mouse > Pointers, and clicked the normal cursor, browsed, chose the cursor that I downloaded, and pressed "ok". However, every time i turn on my computer, the cursor goes back to its normal white default cursor, and I have to go to Control Panel every time to change it back. How do I make it so the cursor stays on the cursor that I chose?

P.S. I use Windows Vista Home Edition.

GAHH! im having the same problem! i also have vista. i think you have to save the cursor from the website in the actual cursors folder instead of in my downloads(or wherever you saved it) thats my theory but idk if that will work. did that make sense?

Hey, I got your answer.

If your computer is really posing as a problem, just re-define your software, I mean all of it and then your centennial cursor will be back to normal.WOrked for me!

go to control panel and see where it shows cursors and that is where you put it on all the time take care.
