i just want to thank everybody that answers in advance because the way i'm going to pose this question-it will be very difficult to answer.

i have microsoft word for mac and i'm trying to format my document differently than the normal format. i'm trying to get my document to look like a book. on half of the document is one page and on the other half is another page and put together with other pages it would make a book. does anyone know how to do that for microsoft word on a mac.?

thanks so much in advance.!

Many printer drivers now do this. You don't need to to anything in Wrod just print to a printer that does. When you got to File | Print, click Properties and look for "booklet" or similar.

Under the Format tab you have a book option. See if that works (Ctrl-Z) to go back if you don't like it.

Option 2: Ditch word and install open office
