Download and use AUTORUNS, it will display your automatic startups and will allow you to disable them.:
Get it at http://technet.microsoft.com/es-ve/sysinternals/bb963902(en-us).aspx
How to use it:
• Download and unzip the file
• Doble-click autoruns.exe
• Select the LOGON tab
Under this tab you will have a list of ALL the startup programs, you only need to unmark the program to disable it. To re-enable it you only need to check it again.
Use it carefully, the best is to work with the program listed under the names:
HKLM refers to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HKCU refers to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
• HKLM\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\RUN
• HKCU\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\RUN
FOR WINDOWS XP:
•C:\Documents and Settings\ All Users\ Start Menu\Programs\ Startup
• C:\Documents and Settings\ your-user-id\ Start Menu\Programs\ Startup
FOR WINDOWS VISTA
• C:\Users\All Users\ AppData\ Roaming\Microsoft\ Windows\Start Menu\ Programs\Startup\
• C:\Users\your-user-id\ AppData\ Roaming\Microsoft\ Windows\Start Menu\ Programs\Startup\
and only disable those programs names you recognize.
Good luck
