go a couple of directories deep in something that already exists (like windows/fonts). Then create a new directory but use an "alt" character such as 194 (┬). To do this hold down the key, and type 194 on your 10key pad (not the numbers along the top of the keyboard). then go into that folder and create another one (use 195 ├, 196 ─, 197 ┼, etc, etc) until you've got about 5 or 6 folders deep. Then name your file with some alt key combos ┬├╛ñä┼.txt.

that should make it harder to find or recognize anyway :-)

If you don't know how to create a directory the command is

MD (ie: MD ┬)

to go into that directory

First, if you have the option to name the file whatever you want then make sure you make it a nonsense name that doesn't stand out from a list of other stuff, make it look like some sort of system file name.

That way if the person searches for the file and they do *.txt in the criteria, your file won't stand out in the list.

Put the file in with other system txt files, in the same folder, that will make it even harder to detect.

Can you change the date of the file? If so, look at the date on another system txt file and make yours the same.

Hope this helps.
