stick with compiz on linux - nothing comes close,

i have 4 animated desktops on my sphere when its flattened out, skydome is animated as well,

i have an aquarium in my sphere,

i have exploding windows, wobbly windows, snow, windscreen wipers, fire writing, semi-transparent windows, 3d windows when my sphere is activated,

app switcher, window switcher, cairo-dock, ring switcher, shift switcher,

to many to list

For visual effects Compiz cannot be equalled.

Even the older Beryl project that was phased out in 2007 was way ahead of the others

It cannot be denied that MAC OS X Snow Leopard is impressive as is Windows 7

Linux, Definitely.

Mac may have a nice overall scheme, but it sometimes gets rather annoying, and it dosen't feature effects such as compiz's 3d-cube, or wobbly windows or such, I'd stay with linux, and all it has to offer.

IMO, Linux has better visual effects, if you include all the 3rd party add-ons.
