Microsoft Word - Continue text/sentence on next page?

I can't remember how to do this, but I do remember it being done many years ago.

How do you change the page setup so when you type text/sentence paragraph, it continues without a period on the next page. Like you know on books, not every page ends with a period/end of sentence.

Can someone please explain how to do this on Microsoft Word, I think my version is 2000, is that helps or makes a difference.

Its called Page Layout and can be found in the menu where it says "file,edit, etc.."



I cant tell you because i always use the Microsoft Office 2007 versions and forgot how to do it on the previous versions which you have.
