I installed Ubuntu 12.04 inside Windows 7 Home basic edition. and when I reboot my laptop I get the Ubuntu menu reboot options.

Ubuntu with Linux 3.20-27 generic
Previous LInux versions
( Windows 7 loader on /dev/sd1 ) when I press on this option it reboots in Ubuntu.

Thanks for help. other wise I'll have to re install Win 7 and then make a partition to install it Ubuntu

Pd: Windows is installed because I see both partition. the Ubuntu and the Windows one.

You installed from within Windows? (That is with the WUBI) If s, it should be the Windows bootloader and not GRUB that is being used. If you installed via the Live Environment, then you will need to either reinstall or reconfigure GRUB https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RecoveringUbuntuAfterInstallingWindows

When you restart computer on startup you are usually asked what O.S. you want. You have like 10 sec to choose.
