Getting a video from an iphone into windows movie maker/microsoft office powerpoint?? Help!!?

I've uploaded the video onto my computer, I saved it into my files but it's a quicktime file, what do i do to make it so that I can upload it into either windows movie maker or microsoft office powerpoint? Or movie maker then load the edited video into powerpoint? Thanks!!
