im using wondershare to recover deleted files but what does this mean?? please helpp?

im in the process of recovering deleted files using the free download version of wondershare...i found the files i wanted back and checked them and hit next now it says....select a path for recovery, than file save path and has a blank box than next to that a browse button so i thought i just click browse and pick a place to put the files ive tried everything, my music my documents, my comp., local disk all of it than hit next and it says....."please select a store directory on a partition that is different from the source partition. please select a recovered file store directory. Note: please do not save the data to the partition where you recovered data." anywayyyy WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??? it doesnt have a help button or more intructions nothing.

Hi, there



That means you'd better save the recovered files to another drive in case your original data are overwritten. Once overwritten, your files will lost forever. So the software indication is for the security of your deleted file data. For example, if your deleted files were lost in Drive C: then when the files are found by this data recovery program, you have to save those found files to another drive like Drive D: or external drive or so.

You can NOT save to the same drive, this can overwrite the existing recovered files, losing them for good. If you do not have a second drive (as in a D: or whatever letter) you will need to connect some ind of external drive or memory stick.

u cant't save d data to same drive from which u r trying to recover d data

save d recovered data to another drive, say if u r trying to recover data from C Drive den choose other drive say D or E to store d data

in case you have deleted the information on your flash force then you definately can not get them returned. unlike on a puzzling force the place they bypass to the bin, deletions from flash drives do not bypass everywhere. they're basically wiped off.
