windows media error we're sorry the following error message has been received from microsoft windows media player the error code included below can be used at the windows media player support (gives web site) to troubleshoot the problem you are experiencing.
error message windows media player can not perform the requested action at this time

error code c00d11d4

any ideas i can not get anything from the web to play i have aol and went to http://music.aol.com/artist/nickelback/410589/video and it wont play anything it gives that message

when i go to my windows media player itself and go to music and do a song scearch nothing plays it gives that its not supported but its through the player itself i have windows media player 10

OK, it seems that you are trying to play a format which is not supported by windows media player. Either you can download more codecs and install or you can use any advanced third party media player like real player, iTunes or quick time player. For codecs upgradation you can visit : http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Codec_Pack_All_in_1.htm or any other sites. Hope it will resolve your question. try deleting your current version and reinstalling the newest one you can find.
