After you delete the files, empty the recycle bin. Run a defrag on the drive. Then copy some very large files to almost fill up the hard drive. Use the computer for a few days, then delete the very large files, and defrag again.

Open the recycle bin and if you want to get rid of all, click on empty recycle bin. If not all, highlight and click delete. But in future, if you know you want to delete completely a file, bypass the recycle bin and use shift delete.

Right click the Recycle bin. Empty it.

In the future, if you're *absolutely certain* that you want to delete a file completely, hold the shift key down when you click Delete. It'll be gone. (It can still be recovered, until it's written over, by special recovery software.)

Go on Filehippo, then dowmload CCleaner, an excellent cleaner for the computer.
