Of course you can delete these files without creating any problem for your system.Temp directory is used generally by the installation programs to temporarily store the installation files, some installation programs delete them after completing installation and some not.

So,you can manually do so.

Yes, you can safely delete them, in fact, you can safely delete files even in the C:\Windows\Temp folder. As its name suggests, it contains temporary files which are used once and have no use afterwards, some softwares automatically delete them after use but some files can remain which are what you see when you are opening the folder. If you cannot delete a particular file(s), Y'know, it means the temporary file is currently in use. Another safe way is Start - All Programs - Accesories - System Tools - Disk cleanup - select C:, it will delete the unused files in the above mentioned two folders.

hi there

Yes you can delete all the files in the temp folder, they are not useful much.

you can use utility like CCleaner to remove those as well as other unnecessary files from the computer.

while you are running some programs it creates a temporary file in temp file. those file will get deleted once the running program is closed.

If you experienced problem while deleting files use 'unlocker' to del the files

try it,

cheers

Sure you can, they will be deleting anyway from your system, that's why are temp (temporary). These are files, that are collected when you're downloading any type of file, listen music, cookies when you are navigating online, etc. This helps sometime to speed up your computer, but it takes temporarily space in your hard drive.

I hope this helps.

U can delete everything...

And the remaining file that r in use cannot be deleted...

They are temporary dump of the present processes...

Dont try to delete file who get error when deleted...

Leave them and delete the others....

It would be better if u use a software named Tune Up Utilities...

It automatically deletes the unnecessary files...

There are many more softwares like these...

But be wise in choosing them..

If u find my advice good... please choose best answer...

Agree wid 2008(2d answer) yet so some distance as i'm in touch information restoration softwares are not that reliable till it fairly is a professional one. Coz I even have used 3 information restoration softwares till at last date and none of them has recovered any of my documents that have been somewhat important.
