Windows XP on Radisys CEGM45 has no sound on outputs and no supplied drivers work?

I recently installed Windows XP onto this computer for compatability reasons, and it mostly works except for the fact that none of the drivers for the audio jacks will install. For the first one that I found on:

http://www.driveridentifier.com/scan/desktop.php?scanid=5F97F3A62CE04DE69A3CE485A337E664&pcname=RadiSys+%2F+CEGM45++++++++(No+System+Version)+drivers

I got it to install, but every time I set up the audio jacks to use it I get the error "The device cannot start (error code 10)

For the second one, I don't have the right CPU
These are the only drivers I found for this, and its really annoying that I cannot find anything else for it

Visit the site below to obtain the Sigmatel Audio Driver v.5.10.5615.0 for Windows XP.

http://www.gateway.com/gw/en/US/content/drivers-downloads

Under Search by Product Model, type MT6010 , then click the item that appears in the model list.  Under Operating System, select Windows XP 32-bit, then at the right, click All.  Click the link to the right of "Audio Sigmatel Audio Driver 5.10.5615.0".

Although a newer driver (5939) has been posted, the device identifier DEV_7690&SUBSYS_00000100 is not present, and it will not install.

( Note:  An alternate, 3rd-party source with a higher download speed is

and the files are identical. )

Maybe one of these drivers?

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/9406/

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/17310/

Or the high-definition audio codecs from Realtek —

http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

If not, open the Device Manager and double-click the audio device, then click the Details tab.  Select Hardware IDs in the droplist.  In the data pane below, click the top line to select it, and press Control+C to copy the text.

Update your question and press Control+V to insert the data.  NOTE:  Please replace each & character with a space to avoid Answers mangling the long line.  The hardware ID will make it possible to positively identify the device and locate the appropriate drivers.

If you HAVE to run XP, then consider using a Virtual Machine. A system like VirtualBox will let you run XP in as client OS under a host Win10 system.

As far as the client OS and it's software are concerned, it's XP, but the hardware drivers are handled by the current windows version. You can even run Windows under a linux or Mac host system

Correct. Windows XP is NO LONGER SUPPORTED. That means not only does Microsoft not support it, but the software drivers no longer support it! Win XP is unsafe and should never be connected to the Internet.
