Which operating system does Samsung SGH-J700 have? And can I install Microsoft Reader http://www.microsoft.com/reader/downloads/ppc.aspx on that phone?

The Samsung SGH-J700 uses a proprietary operating system. Microsoft Reader only functions on Microsoft Windows based operating systems such as Windows XP or Windows Mobile, so it does not function on a Samsung SGH-J700.

The Samsung SGH-J700 has a choice of three different Operating Systems: Samsung OS, Symbian S60, or Windows Mobile. Which Operating System your mobile phone came with is decided at time of purchase so, I'm afraid, I can't answer that one for you. If you take a look at the paperwork you got with the phone, it should detail which specific Operating System it has installed.



Microsoft Reader will only work if your Operating System is Windows Mobile.

Read the phone's User Manual, and, if it doesn't use a Windows CE, or Windows Mobile, OS, the simple answer is NO.
