XP FRESH INSTALL ERROR!!?

Question

I reinstall Windows XP on my desktop but at the end a window poped up and said an error has occured during installation.Now I turn on my pc and it bring me back to the windows installation and says the same thing that an error as occured and the instalation stoped.?Help please

Clean your Windows CD. Then install windows again but make sure you format your hard drive first

boot from the cd try repair windows

or del the partation make new one and then format and install

ur windows xp cd might hv damaged

or

u might hv bad sector on ur hard disk
