I'm looking for some photo editting software I can download. Before my computer was taken in for a service I did have Roxio photosuite but the program got deleted... gotta love PC world!! Picture editting is just a part time hobby so I don't want to spend a lot of money on the software. Any ideas?

It depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a more powerful image editor like a photoshop alternative then I'd recommend the GIMP, it's a bit buggy, but it's the best free image editor.

If you want one that's easy to use then go for either Paint.NET (http://www.getpaint.net/download.html) or Serif Photoplus (http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/software/photoplus/).

Irfanview is more of an image viewer, but has basic editing and batch editing features (http://www.irfanview.com/)

Picnik, FotoFlexer or Lunapic are great all round web based and FREE editing tools. Adobe, makers of the expensive Photoshop, now has a free website version in Photoshop Express. If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. There are also free tools to add text blurbs, to make collages, to put your photo into other images. There are a number of tools that allow you to put the image of a face into other photos for some fun creations. Check out the links below for more ideas.
