It will depend a lot on what you mean by "a small amount of RAM"... 128MB? 256MB? 512MB?

It also depends on the operating system. If your OS is a memory hog (XP/Vista) then all your other software will be slow too.

I've run Dreamweaver MX 2004 on Windows 2000 with 256MB with no noticeable slow-down at all.

Other software to check out... the free open-source NVU editor....

No, actual no longer. because of the fact RAM is the place the working equipment is stored alongside with numerous reminiscence applications of the laptop. There are some skinny shoppers or mini pcs that have RAM outfitted in and you do no longer easily have the potential to alter the RAM. and you won't understand the device even has RAM. yet even cellular telephones have a sort of RAM.

at work we have a pc with 512 ram running dreamweaver. works fine just takes awhile to load the splash screen.

check the software's min. requirements. if you have less RAM than the minimum requirements...it *may* run but performance will suck and you won't get much done...

Yes, the more you have the better the preformance...
